The Sidney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University seeks a full-time Professor of Practice, beginning January 1, 2022, to teach in a new practice-based Master of Arts in Narrative and Immersive Media in Los Angeles, California at the Herald Examiner Building.

The Sidney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University seeks a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor, Film Production/Post Production for the ASU California Center, located at the historic Herald Examiner building in downtown Los Angeles, CA. We seek a highly qualified candidate with comprehensive digital-film production experience to teach undergraduate courses in our film programs. This fixed-term appointment is based in downtown Los Angeles starting Fall 2022

The Sidney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University seeks an Assistant Professor, Film located in Tempe/Mesa. This is a full-time tenure-track position. We seek a filmmaker with established professional credits as a director or director/writer with experience in either narrative or documentary filmmaking. The successful candidate will start employment in Fall 2022. 

The Sidney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University seeks a full-time Lecturer in film production oriented towards short-form production, speculative filmmaking practices, or emergent cinematic forms. This position will be appointed across two of ASU’s locations, ASU at Mesa City Center and the Tempe Campus. The start date for this position is August 16, 2022.
