Film & Media Studies Certificates
| As the internet, film and television become progressively important in both representing and influencing values and ideas, as well as contributing to the interdependence of different cultures in a global economy, students need to be resourceful and broad-minded in their approach to solving issues within the community and within their chosen vocations. Our minor and certificate programs are designed to expand the scope of their lens, introducing students to a range of social, industrial, aesthetic and writing traditions and practices.
Student can thus augment their major with a minor in Film and Media Studies or Certificates in Entertainment Technologies (EnterTech) and, now under development, Screenwriting, American Popular Culture, American Religion, Film and Pop Culture, Animation Studies, and Sports Entertainment. Many of our Certificate programs are designed for students to complete in either a semester, year or through distance learning. |
